How to Search for a Service
Quickly find the status of any service on DownStatus.co using our search functionality.
Using the Search Bar
The search bar is available at the top of every page on DownStatus.co, allowing you to quickly find services:
- Click on the search bar in the navigation menu
- Type the name of the service you're looking for (e.g., "Netflix", "Twitter", "AWS")
- Press Enter or click the search icon
- You'll be taken to the search results page showing all matching services
Pro Tip: You can use partial names in your search. For example, searching for "cloud" will show results for AWS Cloud, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and other cloud services.
Browsing by Category
If you're not sure of the exact service name, you can browse services by category:
- Go to the homepage of DownStatus.co
- Scroll down to find the "Browse Services by Category" section
- Click on a category that might contain your service (e.g., "Streaming", "Social Media")
- Browse through the list of services in that category
Popular Services
The homepage displays trending and popular services for quick access:
- Featured services are shown at the top of the homepage
- Trending outages are highlighted to show which services are experiencing the most reports
- Recently checked services may appear based on your browsing history
Can't Find a Service?
If you can't find the service you're looking for:
- Try alternative names or abbreviations (e.g., "Instagram" instead of "IG")
- Check if the service might be listed under a parent company (e.g., "Instagram" might be found under "Meta")
- Contact us to suggest adding the service if it's not currently tracked
