- Notification frequency: Check that your notification frequency setting isn't set to "None" or "Weekly" if you're expecting immediate alerts.
- Selected services: Confirm you've selected the specific services you want notifications for.
- Email address typo: Double-check that your email address is entered correctly in your profile.
Step-by-Step Troubleshooting
- Search for "DownStatus" in your email inbox, including spam/junk folders
- Check for any email rules or filters that might be affecting DownStatus emails
- If using Gmail, check the "Promotions" or "Updates" tabs where notification emails may be automatically sorted
- Log in to your DownStatus account
- Go to Account Settings > Notifications
- Ensure the "Email Notifications" option is toggled ON
- Check that your email address is correct
- Verify your notification frequency preference
- Make sure you've selected services you want to receive notifications for
- Go to Account Settings > Notifications
- Click the Send Test Notification button
